We work on various systems processing our data.
You will work collaboratively with cross-functional technical teams, helping us implement our vision, working with the wider community of System Engineers growing the effectiveness of our technology services and processes.
You will have a proven track record as a Senior System Engineer in a hybrid cloud environment, combining strong back-office systems and network operations engineering experience with solid business user support acumen.
Your passion for learning will be seen through your initiatives to learn new tools and products, keeping ahead of the latest developments, and finding ways to continuously improve current processes and standards.
Required ExperienceWe want to see the following in your cover letter and CV any information relating to:
Relevant technical experienceExperience in SQL Database AdministrationStrong skills in Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering including server provisioning, maintaining regular patching schedule, support, and maintenance in a hybrid Azure and Linux environmentsExperience and skills in cloud network managementExperience in automation, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesA good understanding of Cyber security and hardening the servers.Strong Experience in setting up and managing Azure Infrastructure ServicesStrong Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Docker and/or KubernetesSetting, maintaining, and improving the standards of the environment and promote adherenceAbility to work within and support a multi-located businessGreat work commitment, tenacity, resilience, and a pragmatic approach with strong problem-solving skillsAbout Tatauranga Aotearoa - Stats NZTatauranga Aotearoa - Stats NZ is a Central Government employer of around 1400 people across Aotearoa.
