This is a bi-cultural programme aimed at restoring the wellbeing of people suffering from addiction.You will uplift the cultural content within Nga Pou Tohutohu and provide cultural support to kaimahi and tangata whai ora (people seeking wellness). The main aim being, helping them to achieve their treatment goals and working collectively with your colleagues.Our ideal candidate will have: Fluency in te reo Maori, both spoken and written Confidence in tikanga Maori, including mihi whakatau/whaikorero, kapa haka, and marae protocol Demonstrated knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi Demonstrated involvement with hapu and iwi including active involvement in marae activities Passion for using purakau, te reo Maori and tikanga to support tangata whai ora (people seeking wellness) and an ability to create an environment where they can meet their full potential.
