Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga operates as an All-Year Model. Teaching staff benefit from 30 days Annual Leave and 15 Professional Time days per year along with 4 non-contact hours per week in this part-time position. Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga has 3.5 teachers, a part-time administrator, and a cook. This kindergarten operates five 6-hour sessions Monday to Friday, catering for 30 children between two and six years of age.
Te Timatatanga o Te Matauranga Kindergarten is part of a network of 25 kindergartens within the NKA. The kindergarten is supported by a professional practice and management team. NKA adheres to the employment conditions as offered in the Kindergarten Teacher, Head Teachers, and Senior Teachers Collective Agreement 2023-2026.
