The role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT leader to join our Digital, Systems and Information (DS&I) team. You will be one of four new roles in the newly established leadership team implementing a Digital Transformation Strategy that informs the future design and delivery of digital services at GNS. Reporting to the DS&I Transformation Executive, you will play a key leadership role in a significant change programme to ensure we have technology and systems that enable our critical science delivery, with a clear focus on taking your people along on the change journey.
Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of support activities of all digital services and data solutions.
Lead the asset management function.
Oversee the delivery of end-user computer management functions at GNS.
Plan and manage IT assets, including hardware, software, and digital resources.
Develop, implement, and monitor service management activities, including the creation and enforcement of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
About you
You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and have proven experience in IT service management, with a strong understanding of ITIL or other relevant frameworks.

This is a permanent, full-time (38 hours per week) role based at our campus in Avalon, Lower Hutt.
