Due to the retirement of a long-standing employee, we have a vacancy within our Data & Technology team for an IT Service Delivery Manager. As part of our Data & Technology function, this role is designed to manage the delivery of business-led technology services, ensuring they are fit for purpose to meet current and future needs.
This role requires a lot of stakeholder liaison; therefore, your customer focus and communication skills will be a key part of your toolkit. You will have extensive experience working with internal business clients enabling them to translate business needs, drivers, and objectives into plans and actions created by the Data and Technology team. You will be able to balance cost, value, and investment requirements to ensure current and planned IT systems and applications are fit for purpose and solution-focused.
You can be the successful bridge between an operations-focused business unit and Data and Technology.
Due to the 24/7 nature of our operations, this role does have an on-call component. You will be part of an on-call rostered team which will require being on call for one week in every five. This is a requirement of the role.
Mou - About you
At the present time, you will already operate as a Service Delivery Manager within an IT environment. You will have multiple years of experience working within IT and experience working within a large corporate environment.
You'll be able to clearly articulate the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
IT / Business Degree or equivalent experience.
ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation or equivalent.
Agile Fundamentals / Foundation or equivalent.
Experience with Infrastructure services.
Ability to quickly build trust and rapport and maintain strong relationships.
Strong commercial acumen.
