We work in partnership with other funding teams to achieve successful science outcomes for New Zealand.For this opportunity, we are looking for someone with great attention to detail and some experience in using business applications to assist with data verification. Diversity is highly regarded, and managers go to great lengths to ensure everyone has the chance to advance their knowledge and abilities.Nga pukenga me nga wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and Experience Required:We are keen to hear from you if you have:Great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Demonstrated experience in relationship management and collaboration skills.A pro-active, solutions-focused work style with a strong customer service focus and delivery.Ability to communicate effectively.Experience in a role requiring strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines without compromising quality.A proven track record of experience in business processing support and/or government processes.Experience in funding and contracting.Willingness to learn and develop an understanding of Te Ao Maori and Tikanga.Must have legal right to live and work in New Zealand.About the Science System Investment and Performance branch:We make, manage, assess and advise on scientific investments to meet New Zealand's economic, social and environmental goals.
