The opportunity - Te turanga As the Intermediate Software Engineer, you will be working as part of a team with a "build it and run it" philosophy. In this role, you will deliver and implement technical solutions utilising your skills in the API development space. You will need to strive to understand the needs of the customer and in collaboration with your peers across technology, ensure our platforms are fit for purpose now and into the future.
Maintain effective communication with staff from both internal and external teams to ensure that the correct software is developed within the given timelines and meets the required quality standards.
Your focus will be on:
Plan work, provide realistic estimates, report on progress and evaluate risks.Perform ongoing maintenance of the code base to ensure continuous improvement.Follow and improve processes that allow the team to deliver quality product on time and to specification.Provide 3rd level support for issues that arise in the production environment.Remain aware and informed of relevant new technologiesThis is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. To be successful in this role you will need the following:
