Role Description This is a full-time on-site role working in a remote office with other consultants for an Intermediate or Senior Architect, Architectural Graduate or Technician on a fixed-term contract (4 months) with the possibility of extending. Responsibilities Working independently with a well-known clientThis role requires working autonomously, managing client expectations, outputs, and design quality. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with development managers and consultants to test project viability.Assist with various project queries, progressing design direction to balance risks, constraints and development opportunities. This may involve reviewing existing projects and their associated Resource Consent or Building Consent RFI's.Preparing scoping reports, associated architectural drawings and specifications.Co-ordinate with external consultants as required to enhance project outputs.Review and offer architectural design solutions where necessary to facilitate individual projects' coordination and design process.Assist in facilitating, engaging, and ongoing working relationships with various consultants.Requirements Education: Relevant tertiary educationExperience: Social housing and master planning/urban design experience is required.Detail orientated: Ability to produce sketches to test project yields and feasibility of projects. Software skills: Proficient in Revit, and Microsoft Word and Excel. Adobe suite would be beneficial.Good understanding of the planning and urban requirements across different regions in NZ.Strong presentation skills – verbal and written.A strong design opinion and design critique.Please note that you must be eligible to work in NZ.
