Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a driven, intermediate level accountant ready to take on a busy workflow and support our team and clients with confidence and professionalism. Key duties include:
Handling compliance work for a variety of clients.
Assisting Senior Accountants with accounting services.
Maintaining relationships with a range of clients.
Identifying consulting opportunities and completing them with initiative.
Liaising with the IRD and Companies Office as needed.
Problem-solving for clients across various accounting needs.
Contributing ideas to improve internal processes and workflows.
Skills & Experience
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a fast-paced public practice accounting environment.
Qualifications: CA or CPA certification completed or in progress.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Xero, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients.
Attitude: Enthusiastic, curious, willing to learn, and able to maintain professionalism under pressure.
