Position: Intelligent Systems and Network Architect
Location: 143 Quay Street, Auckland Central, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis of Systems and Network Architecture:
Evaluate existing systems and infrastructure for potential improvements in intelligence, efficiency, security, and scalability.
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the current and potential network architecture, focusing on network topology, data flow, security and system integration.
Benchmark against industry standards and emerging technologies such as AI Agent to inform recommendations.
Policy and Strategy Recommendation:
Develop and recommend policies and strategies for AI oriented system design, planning, and coordination that align with the organization's goals.
Propose policies for network access, data usage, and resource allocation to ensure security and performance.
Advise on strategies for future growth and scalability to accommodate new technologies and increased usage demands.
Designing and Implementing Intelligent Systems Infrastructure:
Collaborate with stakeholders to design a cohesive intelligent systems infrastructure supporting highly automatic operation requirements.
Plan for high availability, redundancy, disaster recovery, and scalability to address future expansion needs.
System Environment and Architecture Management:
Oversee the architecture of the total system environment, including LAN, WAN, cloud integrations, and IoT devices as needed.
Ensure all network components are compatible, efficient, and support the organization's data communication and security needs.
Implement best practices for system and communication to ensure reliability and high performance.
Operational System and Network Management Tasks:
Monitoring System Performance: Continuously monitor network health, tracking key performance indicators like latency, throughput, and error rates, and use management tools to resolve issues proactively.
Software and Hardware Upgrades: Plan and execute regular updates and upgrades for both hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and security compliance.
Data Backups and Redundancy Planning: Implement and manage data backup solutions and redundancy mechanisms; schedule regular backups and test recovery protocols to ensure functionality during unexpected events.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide tiered support for network-related issues, troubleshoot connectivity problems, diagnose complex faults, and act as a key escalation point for network issues.
Network Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including patch management, hardware replacement, and infrastructure updates, documenting activities for compliance and audit purposes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in software engineering, network engineering, telecommunications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software system design and implementation.
5+ years of experience in network or telecommunications.
3+ years of experience in training and deploying deep learning models.
Proficiency with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Strong skills in programming languages, including C++, Go, and Python.
Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
