Matou | About us:The City Rail Link (CRL) Project is a game changer for Auckland and the largest transport infrastructure project ever undertaken in New Zealand. The CRL is a 3.45km twin tunnel, transforming the dead-end station at Waitemata Station (Britomart), creating two new stations at Te Waihorotiu and Karanga-a-Hape and reconnecting to the network at a new Maungawhau Station.About the Role: Lead energisation milestones across the project.This is a full-time, fixed-term contract opportunity for 6 months.Nga Haepapa | Key tasks and responsibilities:Review and study project specifications, project drawings, and quality-related contract requirements.Review Construction Work Packages (CWPs) and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) across all work packages.Support Delivery teams in the Installation Readiness (Go/NoGo) meetings with all concerned parties before commencement of each work package.Assist the Verification Lead in facilitating site takeover process from Civil/Architectural to Systems Delivery teams.Participate in all relevant external and internal inspection requests (such as Takeover process, hold and witness points, final walkover inspections).Ensure quality control is progressing as per site delivery.Support the Lead in verification of all quality documentation (material approvals, FAT reports, inspection/test records, snag reports, etc.), produced by the delivery team as per the relevant ITP and compile into Quality Record Packs (QRPs) at the end of each work package.Assist the Verification Lead in facilitating the takeover process from Systems Delivery to Test & Commissioning teams.Verify snags and NCRs closure till post-installation.Assist Verification Lead in reporting to the management a monthly summary of all the Tech Services and Verification processes in terms of Site Takeovers, Installation Readiness reviews, QRPs progress, Snag reports, and non-conformance reports (NCR) status.Provide support to the systems delivery teams, when required, to achieve key milestones as per the Construction programme.Assist Verification Lead in interfaces with disciplines to steward resolution of technical issues, Requests for Information, and non-compliant work.Lead all verification tasks for energisation milestones.An Engineer with Electrical backgrounds and knowledge of the following specialties: Telecom, Mechanical/Civil.A minimum of 3 to 4 years work experience & energisation.Strong communication (internal & external stakeholders).All successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test & medical.
