Te Kaunihera aa Takiwaa o Waikato (Waikato District Council) serves a large and diverse area. Key towns include Raglan, Huntly, Ngaaruawaahia, Tuakau and Te Kauwhata. Smaller settlements include Gordonton, Matangi, Tamahere, Meremere, Port Waikato and Pookeno.

About this role:
We are looking for a talented Project Manager to drive delivery of infrastructure projects related to our Long Term Plan using our project management methodologies, frameworks & tools.

What I do?
Responsible for projects from inception through to operational handover, you will have an eye for detail with excellent planning, communication, and coordination skills. You will be required to lead your project team of technical experts to develop and implement the project plan, including scope, design, procurement and contract management. The projects are diverse in range from new or upgraded carparks, roading, boat ramps, public toilets, libraries, playgrounds, walkways and cycleways, and wharves and jetties, just to name a few.

What I bring?
We need someone that can build and maintain strong relationships, as well as adapt to changing circumstances. You will be someone with a broad range of technical knowledge and experience in civil engineering and infrastructure project management. Ideally, you'll also have a qualification in Engineering.
