As our Logistics Project Manager , you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight and management of logistics projects from initiation through to completion across ANZ for our Kemp Creek Distribution Centre. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of logistics strategies, optimize supply chain processes, and achieve project objectives within budgetary and timeline constraints. This role will encompass strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in logistics operations. This is a 12-month fixed term contract commencing July 2024. Requirements for Success Develop and coordinate comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with our goals and objectives, while monitoring progress and addressing risks to keep projects on track. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute tasks and achieve project milestones efficiently. Analyze and optimize logistics processes by identifying inefficiencies, proposing solutions, implementing best practices, and integrating automation and technology to improve operational efficiency. Allocate resources effectively to support project activities and meet project requirements. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure availability of resources, equipment, and materials needed for project execution. Be the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior management, project team members, vendors, and external partners. Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and performance of logistics processes and systems. Conduct quality reviews, audits, and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and standards. Skills & Experience 8 years' experience in logistics project management, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Experience within an international and multi-customer business. Strong understanding of logistics principles, supply chain operations, and transportation management. Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., PMBOK, Agile, Microsoft Project). Experience in financial controlling activities such as project budget and cost allocations. Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions. Solid experience with SAP, AFS, FMS, WMS, TMS and automation application packages. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
