About Saint Kentigern:

Based at our Pakuranga Campus, the Trust Service team provides specialist business infrastructure, support, and guidance across the organisation. An opening has arisen within this team to play a critical role in supporting teaching and learning, and advancing our digital roadmap and vision to be recognised as the number one in digital across independent schools in Australasia.
Key duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Product Owner with expertise in digital learning systems, product management, and system customisation. You will play a key role in ensuring that our Learning Management System (LMS), parent portal, and staff intranet platform meet the diverse needs of students, teachers, administrators, and parents. You will also oversee the core School Management system.
As a champion of user-centric design, you will drive engagement and deliver solutions that enhance learning outcomes through an intuitive user experience. Key responsibilities include:
Defining and communicating the product vision and roadmap which aligns with the Saint Kentigern Digital roadmap and responds to user needs
Optimising core system functionality, whilst driving improvements in functionality, performance and UX and UI experience
User journey mapping
Conducting research, data analytics, and user feedback collection to inform platform improvements and grow user engagement
Facilitating training and communication on new features while maintaining vendor relations
Conducting regular platform audits to ensure stability, security, and performance
Empowering teachers with learning, assessment, and insights tools to improve student performance
Key skills and experiences:
Relevant tertiary qualification such as a Business degree with Information Technology or Software engineering focus
Minimum 8 years Systems product/portfolio experience, particularly with LMS product management and learning system
Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Schoolbox, Canvas, Moodle or Blackboard
Proficient in data analytics and reporting skills tools such as Google Analytics
Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making
Experience in journey mapping, UX and UI design
Knowledge of integrating LMS platforms with other systems via APIs
Strong understanding of LMS platforms and intranets with knowledge of curriculum design an advantage
Excellent project management skills with experience using Agile approaches
Requirement and Attributes:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technology or education field
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively, in a team and independently
Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar certification is an advantage
