x2 part-time roles available (hours are negotiable).
This is a technical role with a Business-Partner focus.
Building relationships across the organisation to problem-solve and influence good information management practices is key.
Engaging with business units to advocate their needs and advise appropriate processes and solutions in an information management context.
You will provide advice, guidance and raise capability through extensive training offerings and technical solutions to all staff, enabling them to meet best practice for managing information and to comply with legislation.
Provide deep technical understanding of the effective use of the enterprise content management system and related productivity tools.

Current understanding of emerging technologies.
Relevant knowledge of protection and privacy of information.

Mo nga pukenga | Qualifications and experience
3 years' experience in a similar role
Minimum qualification of a diploma in a relevant field such as Knowledge Management, Records and Information Management, Information Science or Adult Education and Training or related discipline.
Experience using enterprise content management systems, electronic document management and records systems such as the OpenText suite.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance obligations, including the Public Records Act, Privacy Act and Security Requirements.
Experience developing, implementing and delivering training in a workplace setting.
Knowledge of maintaining taxonomies and information retention and disposal schedules is desirable.
Excellent understanding of relevant statutes, rules, and regulations, including compliance obligations under the Public Records Act 2005 and Privacy Act 2020.
A high level of digital skills is essential.
Experience working with technology to improve practices and adopt favourable outcomes.
Demonstrated experience managing Information within local government is desired.
