As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and skilled Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting their commercial operations, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risk.Role Overview: As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support on a broad range of commercial contracts and agreements, ensuring the company's interests are protected while facilitating smooth business operations. This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, making it a pivotal position within the legal and commercial departments.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, amendments to standard terms and conditions of purchase and bespoke agreements.Advising on and managing a wide range of legal issues including civil litigation and regulatory matters.Evaluate and weigh multiple inputs/impacts of decisions/courses of action and identify proactive solutions to mitigate risks.Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time.Qualifications & Experience:Qualified solicitor with up to 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE). Ideally dual qualified.Strong experience in commercial contract law, ideally with exposure to the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues in the food industry is a plus.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.What's On Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work within a growing, global company in a key industry.A supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for career growth.Exposure to a wide range of legal issues, enhancing professional development.
