ICT Support Technician - Fixed Term (Parental Leave Cover) EA Networks is a locally owned cooperative network company based in Mid Canterbury. It owns and operates the region's electricity distribution network, as well as an advanced fibre optic communications network. The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Support Technician to join our tight-knit ICT team. This fixed-term role will cover parental leave which is expected to end early July 2025.
The successful applicant will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation, operation and maintenance of systems, hardware, software and related infrastructure. They will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation with the infrastructure. The successful applicant will ensure that hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organisational values, enabling staff and contractors.
Got what it takes?
Diploma or relevant qualification in IT/Computing and/or Microsoft Certification OR demonstrated work experience.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in providing ICT Support Services.
Ability to confidently provide IT related services to clients promptly and efficiently.
Strong customer focus with a passion to assist users.
Full Class 1 New Zealand Drivers licence.
