Other (Information & Communication Technology)Full timeThe Information and Communication Technology Group (ICT) provides a wide range of ICT planning, implementation, operation and support services as a shared service to the KiwiRail Group. As our primary liaison between the Digital and ICT business group and its technology service providers, you'll be key to the success of KiwiRail's ICT function, working closely with ICT leadership to support digital innovation, manage risks and optimise vendor performance.Responsibilities:Develop and sustain effective ICT vendor partnershipsReview vendor performance against SLAs, KPIs and cybersecurity standardsManage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, provide financial analysis, forecasting and cost-saving opportunitiesCollaborate with Corporate Procurement to negotiate and execute ICT-specific contractsConduct risk assessments with a focus on cybersecurity, data protection and service continuityIdentify and source new digital solutions and secure new digital partners that support digital transformationWhat you'll need:A critical skillset for this role is your aptitude for analysing contracts and vendor performance data to enable informed decisions to be made. You'll have a strength in understanding budgeting, cost analysis and financial management as it pertains to ICT expenditure.As well, you'll have ten plus years' experience in ICT services, preferably within freight or logistics.
