Challenge: Own and lead the commercial performance and business operations of the Australia and New Zealand ecommerce marketplaces (ecommerce website, third-party marketplaces and digital online wholesale partners) in region by aligning cross-functional regional and global activities to achieve step changes in growth and profitability through a direct-to-consumer and partner-facing customer centric lens. Key ecommerce input drivers to focus on are traffic, new users, customer acquisition and conversion via brand-led campaigns and CRM, successful product launches, assortment management, promotional execution and overall commercial trading and insights. A successful outcome is measured by achievement of regional ecommerce revenue, margin, discount%, traffic and conversion rate.
Accountability: E-commerce Operations: Assist line manager oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of e-commerce websites, ensuring seamless website operations and a seamless customer experience.Trade and Campaign Strategy: Assist line manager develop and implement a comprehensive trade and campaign calendar, conduct regular trade and content reporting, and optimize onsite campaigns and navigation to drive business performance.Homepage Content and Customer Journey: Own the local homepage content and campaigns, ensuring alignment with trading strategies and continuous initiatives to capture maximal local demand, while optimizing the customer journey.Profit and Loss Accountability: Assist line manager accountable for the online P&L, ensuring all expenditure is in line with profit targets and that revenue and profit targets are met through strategic planning and execution.Brand and Product Development: Drive product opportunities with stakeholders, leveraging case studies and analytics to inform decision-making and manage site performance through extensive testing, analytics, and optimization.Competitor Analysis and Market Opportunities: Perform competitor analysis and identify new market opportunities, influencing the global Digital team to action updates for the region and ensuring effective and informed decision-making.Agency and Team Coordination: Manage all agency relationships across site enhancements and digital marketing, and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure efficient business planning and execution of key promotional activities.'Must have' skills, knowledge & experience: Equivalent of 3 to 5 years' experience in eCommerce retail with international experience in a matrixed environment preferred.Experience in running an end-to-end digital business with revenue and profitability target achievement.Ability to lead the planning, management, execution and tracking of online growth using web analytics tools (Google Analytics, fanplayr and Emarsys) and familiar with salesforce system.Highly data-driven and analytical; capable of independently performing and presenting business insights and constructing business cases for new opportunities.Exceptional relationship management skills.Strong problem-solving capability and skills.Excellent cross-functional leadership and project management skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Highly proficient in Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).Adequate financial planning, budgeting and inventory merchandising/forecasting skills.Fluency in English is essential and ability in other languages will be an advantage (especially for EU and Asia).Personal characteristics: Active and adventurous.A passionate high achiever – works hard and plays hard.Curious, with a global outlook and strong desire to continually learn & evolve.A Brand Ambassador who is drawn in by our story and inspired by the authenticity and uniqueness of our brand.A highly collaborative team player.Outdoor sports lover and adventurous on hiking, skiing and running.About UsVF Corporation outfits consumers around the world with its diverse portfolio of iconic lifestyle brands, including Vans, The North Face, Timberland, and Dickies.
