About the Role Our client is a global innovator renowned for pioneering sustainable practices and unwavering commitment.
We are delighted to partner with them in seeking an experienced HR Manager/Leader for their New Zealand operations.
The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into the role and hit the ground running as a crucial part of the NZ leadership team reporting directly to the General Manager.
You will play a key role in driving decision-making and cultivating the right culture by working closely with the local team with support from the Global HR Business Partner.
Key responsibilities include training, developing, and retaining the NZ team, leading employee relations, ensuring HR compliance and documentation, as well as managing recruitment and overseeing payroll processes.

Our ideal HR Manager for our client will have: At least 5 years' advisory experience A tertiary qualification in HR or Business Excellent interpersonal and written skills An action-oriented behaviour with a sense of urgency The ability to think on their feet and provide innovative solutions Involved in the local community Analytic and creative thinking ability A good knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation Experience in blue collar recruitment and creative in ability to find labour Some awareness of the immigration process A down to earth and willing nature Experience in a livestock or similar industry is ideal.
This position offers an exciting chance to develop and execute HR policies for New Zealand, aligning them with global business strategies and practices.
As the HR lead, you will take a hands-on approach in guiding and overseeing the HR function, including all recruitment efforts for teams across both the North and South Island, whether they are based in the office or out in the sheds.
