We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our thriving People and Culture Team. You will be reporting to the HR Manager but working closely with leaders and teams right across our business, from the experts who pilot ships into our harbour to the operators of complex mobile harbour crane and heavy container handling equipment. Every day is different and you can expect to be working across all things people.
To be the right fit for this role you will get satisfaction from: Recruitment and on-boarding processes e.g. advertising roles, managing the online recruitment system, interviewing and running pre-employment checksDay to day HR and Health and Safety coordination service and support to the People and Culture team and managers Learning and Development coordination and administration support Contribute to ongoing development and improvement of the Port's human resources processesSelf-development and growth in the HR function Systems focus - provide system administration support and development for our Human Resources systems (including our HRIS Bamboo HR and our performance and engagement system)Provide cover to payrollWe would love to hear from you if you: Are looking to develop your career in people and culture developmentAre passionate about peopleAre an excellent relationship builder Have strong communication skills – written and peopleFocus on continually improving and finding efficiencies You have a relevant tertiary qualification e.g. HR, Commerce or Management or similar and ideally 1-2 year' experience in an HR Generalist role What's in it for me?
