Consulting & Generalist HR (Human Resources & Recruitment)Full timeWe are on a journey to a more systems-supported HR ecosystem but need your immediate help in setting up HR assets such as policies, SOPs, revised Job Descriptions, and various templates.Alongside this, there is a need for you to work alongside the HR Business Partner to document day-to-day HR queries manually until the IT HR systems are embedded.This permanent role is a great opportunity for someone collaborative who is highly driven by accuracy and managing HR and training improvement processes.The IT systems will be built out, but for future needs, you will be HR platform savvy, have a handle on HR reporting, and experience in coordinating training, year-end reviews, and other standard HR processes.Purpose of RoleThe HR Coordinator is responsible for managing HR and training processes manually until the crossover to electronic systems. You will lead in the triaging of HR inboxes, dealing with low-level queries, and support the HR team with prompt and accurate HR documentation. You will liaise with payroll and, in time, coordinate recruitment and onboarding.Key Performance IndicatorsSuccessful performance in this role will be indicated by:Completion, accuracy, and security of personnel data within SharePointFeedback from HR team / payroll / ACC regarding accuracy and timeliness of HR documentationCulturally appropriate interactions with employees (kaimahi)Ability to organize logistics for training and other HR eventsSpeed of response meets SLA for recruitment, onboarding, and other HR queriesAbility to use HR IT systems once implementedQualifications and ExperiencePre-requisitesAt least 2-3 years working in an HR coordinator role and supporting other HR professionalsSound experience with using HR / Training IT systemsProven ability to recruit and onboard new employeesUnderstanding of current NZ employment legislation (ideally at a tertiary level)High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and ideally SharePoint and MondayMaintains confidentiality with personnel dataDemonstrates knowledge and commitment to Te Ao Maori; fluency in Te Reo is an advantage but if not, must have a willingness to learnDemonstrates commitment to ongoing learning and growthA proven ability to work to deadlines and maintain accuracyStrong communication and internal and external stakeholder management skillsProblem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude
