Reporting to the Regional HR Manager (based remotely) and as a valued member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work across a diverse range of tasks supporting HR and the operations team within our distribution centres in New Zealand as well as support our centres and Head office in Australia.
Day to day you will:
Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries in New Zealand and escalate as required.Proactively partner with your leadership teams and use your effective and supportive communication to influence and support on change management, retention, engagement, talent and performance development.Manage and investigate complaints and grievances to maintain a positive and productive work environment.Support leaders through the core HR programs and processes including onboarding, probationary reviews, performance reviews, training and development, performance management and offboarding.Draft HR documentation as required (i.e. contracts, employment changes, compile initial information and documentation for investigations, reporting etc) Support cyclical HR processes (i.e. Employee Engagement, Pulse and Ethics Surveys, Performance Reviews, Audits, etc.).Assist in the delivery of ad-hoc HR projects (including process mapping, creating documentation and flow charts, Great Place to Work certification). About You: Generalist HR experience, with qualifications in Human Resources, Business or equivalent.Be solutions focused and able to build great relationships across all levels in an organisationAbility to work in fast paced environment with competing priorities.Prior experience supporting Employment relations (ER) cases.Have a sound understanding of New Zealand employment legislation.Proficient in Microsoft office suite What we Offer: We believe in building careers through providing a safe, connected and innovative culture that supports ongoing growth and development.
