The Lorneville Plant is not only our biggest plant at Alliance Group but also the biggest plant in the Southern Hemisphere during the peak season.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the HR Team as an HR Administrator on a 6-month, fixed-term basis. We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and variety while positively contributing to the overall success of the plant.
Reporting to our Plant HR Administration Manager, your main duties will include:
Greeting seasonal applicants as they arrive at the plant
Assisting with pre-screening and inputting information into our HRIS system
Working with local agencies and organizations in relation to seasonal recruitment needs (e.g., Work and Income, Immigration New Zealand)
Supporting salaried recruitment activity where needed by the HR Administration Manager and Regional HR
All other duties as may be reasonably required to support the Plant's HR Functions.
We are looking for a confident and driven self-starter to excel in this role. You will have previous experience in administration and/or HR within an operational environment and hold a relevant qualification, alongside:
Excellent administrative, system, and organization skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
A high level of communication skills – both written and verbal
Being a natural problem solver
Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
The ability to work within a team environment
