Join us as a Hosting Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting intercultural exchanges across New Zealand.About the RoleAs our Hosting Coordinator, you'll ensure the smooth operation of hosting programmes by meticulously reviewing and processing student and host family applications. You'll be the trusted link between students, host families, schools, and international partners, ensuring all processes are followed, records are accurate, and everyone involved feels supported. From coordinating interviews to arranging school enrolments and placements, your work will directly contribute to a seamless experience for participants.You'll also get hands-on with key events like student arrivals, departures, and family orientations, and working alongside our motivated volunteers. With a mix of remote work (two days a week) and office collaboration (three days a week), this role offers the perfect blend of autonomy and teamwork.What You'll DoApplication Management: Review and verify student and host family applications, ensuring all documents are complete and accurate.Relationship Coordination: Liaise with international partners, volunteers, and schools to coordinate placements, enrolments, and interviews.Placement Oversight: Match students with host families, ensuring all parties are well-informed and supported.Event Support: Participate in arrival and departure camps, as well as orientations for host families and students.Process Perfection: Maintain meticulous records, follow established procedures, and contribute to continuous improvements.Who You AreYou're organised, detail-focused, and thrive on keeping processes running smoothly.
