Reporting directly to our Chief People Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing health and safety frameworks and systems to ensure legislative compliance. You will plan and implement a range of health and safety initiatives, such as training, Toolbox-talks, mental wellbeing initiatives, and policy, process and system reviews.Your health and safety remit will extend beyond Entrada's staff to our customers, franchisees, partners, and suppliers. In this flexible role, you'll blend desk-based administration work with hands-on field support, collaborating with health and safety committees, operational managers, and employees. Regular visits to our Auckland sites and bi-monthly travel to our Bay of Islands locations will be required to provide further support to operational teams in H&S audits, incident investigations, drug-testing, return-to-work programs, and educational health and safety programs.Additionally, you will be a key member of Entrada's Trans-Tasman health and safety team and will proactively contribute to group-wide health and safety strategies and reporting procedures. You'll be responsible for updating group-wide Health & Safety data for New Zealand, using Mango, Entrada's health and safety system, and Excel to compile monthly and quarterly statistics and reports.About YouYou're passionate about all things health and safety and have proven success in a generalist Health and Safety role within a complex operating environment. You are able to establish relationships quickly, from senior managers to front-line staff. You thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Self-sufficient and proactive, you're able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision, dive into the detail to understand existing systems/processes (or lack of them), and confidently manage tasks independently to drive safety initiatives forward.
