We are seeking two (2) dynamic, innovative, energetic teachers to join our health and physical education learning area. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of establishing a Sports Academy at Northland College to act as a key hook for student learning.
We are a PB4L and a Relationships First school that places effective learning relationships, excellent pedagogy, integrity and mana at the forefront of all we do. We are committed to raising achievement for our predominantly Maori learners and seek culturally responsive teachers in this role. The successful applicant will teach both junior and senior classes.
Northland College is located in Kaikohe, Te Pu o te Wheke, thirty minutes inland from the beautiful Bay of Islands. We are committed to giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and we value serving our hapori (community), hapu and iwi. We are invested in growing 'North East' teachers and support this through our PLD programme.
