Work closely with Connexa's supplier community to collaboratively improve health and safety across contracting chains and shared workplace environments as well as support the Health Safety and Environment Manager in implementing exciting new health and safety risk remediation projects.You'll be joining Connexa at an exciting time, and you'll play a key role in shaping the ways of working and co-creating the culture.Key responsibilities include:Utilise our technology to perform desktop reviews and evaluations of supplier health and safety pre-plans for each new build, colocation, relocation, upgrade, and decommission.Provide feedback and suggest improvements where appropriate.Follow up on suggested improvements.Plan, implement, and report on health and safety site inspections for telecommunications infrastructure construction and maintenance work.Compare what is happening with the pre-planned approach, and follow up where required.Provide relevant health and safety advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders.Assist in developing, maintaining, and operating Connexa's Health and Safety Management System.Work closely with the delivery teams to grow knowledge of their H&S obligations, responsibilities, and what that looks like in practical terms.Ensure individuals in the delivery teams are fulfilling their duties.Reporting - when and where required.Support the Connexa Health & Safety Committee.Requirements:A sound understanding of Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) duties and effective application across business overlapping contracting chains and shared workplace environments.Strong health and safety subject matter knowledge about civil and maintenance operations.Proficient in planning, conducting, documenting, and communicating the results from health and safety hazard and risk assessments, as well as successfully auditing the design and operation of health and safety control systems.A proven track record in critically evaluating health and safety pre-planning documentation and providing value-adding review feedback and recommendations to PCBU's preparers.Ability to plan, execute, and implement health and safety site inspections and follow these up with high-quality reports summarising inspection findings and justifying conclusions and recommendations.An ability to prioritise and self-organise to deliver defined outcomes and productivity requirements.Understanding of New Zealand's health and safety legal, duty holder, and regulatory function framework and the ability to relate this knowledge to Connexa's activities.Benefits:In return for your efforts, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, Southern Cross health insurance, life insurance, Marram holidays, as well as an annual wellbeing day.Working at Connexa will challenge you, broaden your skillset, and give you the opportunity to make your mark on a totally new segment of New Zealand's telecommunications industry.To express your interest, APPLY online today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
