We are seeking a committed and motivated individual for the role of Health & Safety Advisor at our Fullcircle operation, located in Penrose, Auckland. This is a challenging but exciting opportunity that will see you roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and play a key role working alongside and supporting the delivery of Health & Safety objectives across our Fullcircle and nationwide Baling Plant operations, to ensure and promote the delivery of Oji Fibre Solutions guiding principles for Environment, Health, Safety and Risk (EHSR).

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, support and implement Health and Safety, through the coordination, and support of policies, procedures, safety initiatives and systems.
Identify, understand and effectively manage Health & Safety and Environmental risks in our business.
Co-ordinate and maintain safety training programs across all sites.
Participate in H&S meetings, contributing to the group's projects.
Coordinate and assist with site safety meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant qualification and/or minimum 4 years working in large industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
The ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and preferably experience with Risk Manager (H&S management system).


You will need to demonstrate the ability to influence others in sound judgment and decision-making; have great interpersonal and communication skills; be a creative thinker; one who can be solutions and delivery focused, and above all have a great customer service ethos. In addition, flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure are the key personal attributes we are looking for.
