The Role: In this role, you'll be key in supporting the health and safety systems that keep the workplace secure and compliant.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, managing documentation, and providing support to the Health and Safety team.
Key Responsibilities: - Keep health and safety records and documentation current and organised.
- Assist in developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and schedule health and safety training sessions.
- Support the investigation of incidents and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
- Liaise with external health and safety consultants when necessary.
- Prepare reports and presentations for the management team.
- Offer general administrative support to the Health and Safety team.
About You: - Experience in a similar role, ideally within a health and safety setting.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.- NZ Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety Level 3 is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for health and safety.
