Head Teacher (BestStart Palmerston North) At BestStart, we're leaders in the early childhood sector, we make a difference and we love what we do. We provide high-quality early education and award-winning childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. BestStart Palmerston North is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified and Registered Teacher to join our energetic and tight-knit team as our new Head Teacher. Our focus is to provide quality education to the children in our community.
BestStart Palmerston North aims to empower children to reach their full potential through their knowledgeable and experienced teaching team. Each child is unique, and their learning needs to be tailored in a way that supports them. Having a team of passionate and expert teachers allows for spontaneous learning opportunities to be meaningful, and forward planning for individuals to be thought out and followed through.
This role is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week with our 2.5 to 4 year olds.

Role requirements:
We're looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision and has a good understanding of programme planning and assessment as well as a drive and passion for growth.
As well as:
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
A strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy, and curriculum
Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki, and hold compliance in high regard
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
