The Opportunity
As the Head of Search at Double, you will lead and shape our Google Ads Performance team, managing the strategy, implementation, and execution of campaigns focused on Google Ads. This is a strategic role, where you'll work closely with all teams to ensure alignment with overall strategy and drive exceptional results for both new and existing clients. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering growth, delivering impactful outcomes, and achieving long-term success. Key responsibilities include:
Lead, mentor, and guide the Google performance team, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and skill development.
Ensure the profitability and success of the performance team.
Lead the overarching strategy for complex performance-led projects, ensuring a strategic and results-driven approach.
Oversee the strategy creation and approach for clients managed by the performance team.
Lead the delivery of proposals and pitching to new performance-lead clients.
Ensure that campaigns are delivered to targets.
Assist your performance team with strategy, implementation and optimisation of campaigns.
Set creative standards, ensuring that work meets established quality and performance best practice benchmarks before delivery.
Act as the first point of contact for clients facing complexities and challenges, providing expert guidance and solutions.
Create excellent relationships with our biggest clients by confidently communicating through email, phone and meetings.
Lead the collaboration with the other teams to build custom measurement solutions, creative framework & standard processes.

Required skills
5+ years of experience managing paid digital campaigns, preferably in an agency environment.
Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to upskill and inspire a team.
In-depth understanding of digital advertising strategy and its impact on overall business goals.
Experience leading complex client projects and relationships.
Ability to analyse and interpret data effectively, translating insights into actionable strategies.
Proficiency with tools including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics. Bonus if you also have experience in Meta Ads and TikTok.
Creative problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to explore new avenues and question the status quo.
