Metlifecare currently owns and operates a portfolio of 37 villages (with more under development), located throughout New Zealand. We have more than 6,900 residents and employ over 2,000 staff members across our operations. Metlifecare is one of the largest operators in New Zealand.
As a new position reporting to the General Manager - Sales and Marketing, this pivotal role will be responsible for developing and delivering relevant market and pricing strategies through credible data insights and market analysis. The primary objective is to drive improved and sustained group sales and marketing performance against targets, focusing on structured sales strategy, master planning, pricing strategies, and proactive marketing.
Key areas of responsibility:
Sales & Pricing Strategies: Price newly available stock during feasibility development and monitor adjustments to market conditions, ensuring revenue meets/exceeds budget.
Sales and Marketing Performance & Growth: Review and track sales plan performance against budget, identify improvement opportunities, and determine reporting metrics for smart decisions.
Sales Leadership: Provide leadership to the Sales team in the absence of the GM Sales and Marketing, and contribute to the development of sales capabilities across the group.
About you
With significant experience in Sales and/or Commercial Insights Leadership, a background in multi-site, multi-market residential development or retirement industry sales is desirable. You should be strategic yet hands-on, with strong interpersonal skills and effective communication. Your experience in leading sales teams to consistently meet/exceed performance targets is essential. You should also possess analytical skills to enable evidence-based decision-making.
