An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Risk & Compliance to join the expanding legal, risk & compliance team of a leading Global Professional Services firm.
This dynamic role offers the chance for an experienced Risk & Compliance professional to work across two of their regulated financial services businesses and provide leadership and strategic advice on risk and compliance.
As the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will lead a team of 3 and have matrix reporting into the New Zealand General Counsel and Australia. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting & developing the teamPartnering with key stakeholders to provide leadership and strategic advice on risk & complianceEstablishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within the Pacific team to strike the right balance between support and autonomy for the NZ businessesLeading risk and control assessments, monitoring business risk profiles and high-risk projects, and overseeing issue management and remediationProviding expert input into risk frameworksDelivering training and guidancePromoting continuous improvementParticipating in local and global initiatives requiring risk and compliance inputPreparing concise reporting for business leadership and boards and committeesMaintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and regulators to ensure complianceThis company prides itself on its commitment to growth and innovation.
