Ruawai College is looking for a passionate and energetic head of Physical Education to join our team of kaiako. This full-time position begins in 2025 and offers an exciting opportunity to shape and grow the future of physical education learning and school-wide PE-based activities at our kura.
The successful candidate will join a team of curriculum leaders who work collaboratively with each other and the senior leadership team to build robust pathways for our akonga. We are committed to delivering a high-quality curriculum that engages and supports all learners in reaching their potential.
A commitment to contributing to the school's co-curricular programme is essential.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be registered with the New Zealand Teaching Council.
The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,678 to $99,216, depending on applicants' qualifications and experience. Individuals' actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
