This position attracts 2MU and requires the successful candidate to lead the Y9–13 mathematics team in our vibrant learning area.We are looking for a kaiako who is culturally aware and will enjoy working within a modern learning environment, with a focus on akonga/student-centered learning.The successful candidate will have:A Degree qualification or equivalent.Experience leading collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Ability and confidence teaching Y9-13.Ability to teach to NCEA Level 3 Mathematics with Statistics and Mathematics with Calculus.Experience with planning and delivering integrated learning programmes for Y9–10.A commitment to providing extra-curricular opportunities for akonga.Sound organisational skills and a detail-oriented approach.Sound communication skills to support akonga, whanau, and Kaimahi.The successful applicant will exemplify the kura's values of Hanga Whare, Alofa, Manaakitanga, Service, and Success.
