With ongoing growth and increased workload, they are in search of a professional with robust IT and leadership skills, to be based in their Auckland office.
As the Head of Applications, you will oversee New Zealand's IT operations, providing strategic direction and a roadmap. Your responsibilities include managing the applications, infrastructure, business intelligence framework, project management, governance of systems and processes, and leading the team while engaging with stakeholders.
Role Overview: Develop and implement strategies to ensure business goals are achieved across all departments. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and internationally. Negotiate contracts with external consultants to support IT activities and uphold IT standards. Lead and manage the team, encouraging collaboration to meet both technical and non-technical needs. Plan and oversee performance development for direct reports. Experience working in complex environments and with various systems, including SAP and Salesforce. Support IT compliance activities, such as the ISM IS027001 project, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Candidate Profile: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Extensive experience with SAP, S4/HANA, and Salesforce. Experience in the manufacturing or service industry would be ideal.
