The Kelvin Hotel is a 3.5 star, 61 room hotel in the heart of Invercargill, featuring Level One restaurant and bar, Editor's Cut sports bar and our five versatile function spaces. Reporting to the Executive Manager and as a member of The Kelvin Hotel's leadership team, the head chef will play a pivotal role in creating menus, leading a high performing team, overseeing service, celebrating Southland's finest produce, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities: Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to articulate our vision.
Significant head chef experience within large complex facilities.
Understanding and love of restaurant menus, bars and event catering.
Passion for food and creating high quality innovative guest experiences.
Superb time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
