About the role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Handyman/Builder to join our team at All Maintenance & Renovations an expanding dependable company. We have high standards with a - "It can be done" attitude. As a Handyman/Builder, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks while working with our friendly team. This is a contract role, offering full time work and the opportunity to do something different all the time. What you'll be doing Perform general handyman - building and maintenance tasks, such as minor repairs, painting & plastering, house washing, repairing walls, doors and ceiling, replacing window stays, hole patching, fence & deck work, hedge trimming etc.Assist with larger renovation and construction projects, including framing, drywall, and finishing workEnsure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting relevant safety and quality standardsMaintain a clean and organised work environmentContribute to the overall efficiency and success of the maintenance and renovation teamWhat we're looking for Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Handyman/ Builder, with a diverse skillset covering various tradesStrong practical skills and the ability to carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasksProficient with the use of tools and the ability to use a range of power tools and other equipmentGood problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of our team Strong verbal and written communication skillsA commitment to being reliable and well presented.A positive, flexible, and reliable attitude with a "Can do" willingness Commitment to safety and a willingness to undergo any necessary trainingA valid driver's licence What we offer $30 – $38 per hour with bonus incentives - A fair rate appraisal during interview to determine where you sit in pay range.Opportunity to work on a range of various and different projectsA supportive and collaborative work environmentSupport and further training to develop your skills - We support and monitor development through an apprentice training program The chance to be part of a growing, trustworthy company A friendly and supportive team environmentAbout us All Maintenance & Renovations is a respected and expanding company, working in the Auckland region.
