Digital & Search Marketing (Marketing & Communications) Full time The role: As the Growth Marketing Lead, you will define and execute the strategies that drive Melodics' user acquisition and subscription growth. With a keen eye for data and a passion for optimization, you'll constantly discover new opportunities for growth, all while uncovering creative ways to drive down customer acquisition costs. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, you'll lead the charge on paid and organic channels, explore untapped growth channels and create new opportunities for acquisition.
What you'll do: Explore New Growth Channels: Identify and scale opportunities, researching and pitching innovative ideas that drive user acquisition. Lead their launch and success. Data-Driven Optimisation: Dive deep into customer and funnel data, making data-backed decisions to optimise digital marketing initiatives. Monitor performance, providing insights to the finance and leadership teams. Paid Media: Manage relationships with external suppliers and our paid media agency, optimising campaigns to maximize ROI. Experiment with spend strategies to optimise LTV:CAC and increase conversions. Organic Growth: Lead SEO efforts, working with external contractors & content suppliers to boost organic traffic and conversions. Oversee social media strategies and influencer partnerships to ensure cost-efficient lead generation and brand awareness growth. App Store Growth: Lead our app-store strategy from infancy, ensuring it becomes a significant contributor to overall user growth. Website Funnel Ownership: Own website performance, obsessing over funnel metrics. Drive engagement and conversion improvements across the website and sign-up process. Forecasting & Budgeting: Set and manage digital marketing budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals. Maintain a balanced focus on both acquisition and long-term profitability. Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the broader marketing team to develop and execute campaigns that drive growth across multiple channels. What you bring: 5+ years of senior experience in growth marketing, preferably in a consumer SaaS business, with a proven track record in scaling new user acquisition. Deep knowledge of paid media (Google, Meta), SEO, social media, and influencer marketing. Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance LTV and CAC for sustainable growth. Experience managing agencies, budgets, and end-to-end campaign execution. A problem-solving mindset, with a passion for driving results. Excellent communication and leadership skills, comfortable working across teams and managing external partners. A curious, forward-thinking approach, driven by data and informed by intuition. The position is a permanent, full-time role based in Auckland, New Zealand. While we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to WFH, we are looking for someone to be based from our office on Karangahape Rd for part of the working week.
