About the Organization Anglican Care Waiapu (ACW) is the social services arm of the Anglican Diocese of Waiapu. Our services and programmes in the Bay of Plenty, Tairawhiti, and Hawke's Bay support tamariki, whanau, and communities with early childhood education, family services, grief services, and older people programmes.

About the Role As a Growing Through Grief (GTG) Coordinator, you will work with your local communities to provide support for children, young people, and adults who are experiencing change, loss, and grief in their lives. In this role, you will be responsible for all practical and professional aspects of programme delivery, overseeing the GTG service and promoting and growing it in the Rotorua area.
Your day-to-day focus will be on:
Planning, coordinating, and facilitating our Growing Through Grief programmesRecruiting, maintaining, and supporting a group of volunteers to deliver our programmesBuilding and maintaining networks across schools and other agencies that work with and for the communityIdentifying needs within our communityReporting, health and safety, and quality improvementThis is a part-time position working 20 hours per week based in our local Anglican Parish in Rotorua.
