We are responsible for designing community-based systems of care, agreeing health and wellbeing plans, executing those plans, and monitoring outcomes which then feed into the design process.

We work in partnership with our Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues to shape system-wide public health services across the motu.

The Group Manager, Regional Service Improvement will be responsible for overseeing a team of quality assurance and improvement advisors tasked with ensuring NGO funded services meet clinical quality and patient safety requirements.

The team will also include advisors tasked with implementing clinical good practice around well child services, advanced care planning, and any other budget related quality improvement initiatives around funded providers.

Mou About you You will bring the ability to think conceptually and anticipate the impact of decisions on long-term outcomes and develop responses in consultation with key stakeholders.

In addition, you will have experience leading clinical service improvement teams, experience in quality assurance and improvement processes, commissioning across a wide variety of primary and community health services, and high performing teams.

You will have a passion for ensuring our health services respond to the health needs of our communities, achieve equity across population groups, are efficient and improve Maori health equity.

Demonstrated experience in leading system and service design Experience leading highly skilled, high performing and engaged management and professional teams in a multi-faceted and demanding environment Demonstrated experience in the development of high quality and timely business strategies and initiatives across a large organisation Demonstrated experience at a leadership level for developing, maintaining and influencing relationships and partnerships across sectors and organisations including with Maori and Pacific Peoples and groups A relevant tertiary or professional qualification Ka kawea e koe You will bring : A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
