About this role; Based in the Auckland CBD we have an exciting opportunity for a Group L&D Manager role working in a hugely diverse and complex business.
Reporting to the Head of L&OD, this role is responsible for creating and delivering the strategy and implementing the programmes to support the development of organisational capability and effectiveness.
The L&D strategy is a core component of the People & Culture function.
The purpose of this role is to link Leadership, Learning and development strategy to the strategic requirements, building capability to ensure future success.
This role leads a team of 5-6.
Their culture and people are integral to their growth and success.
Experience and in partnership with your team, you will be accountable for end-to-end programs and practices from operational to experienced senior leaders.
What you'll do: Design and implement learning programs that build employee capabilities in alignment with business outcomes, positioning them to succeed in their current jobs and develop skills to sustainably serve future growth.
Serve as a strategic partner in how to apply learning and development solutions to business needs.
Partner closely with Leaders, People & Culture and wider Enterprise Learning & Development Team to develop and or deploy innovative learning solutions.
Foster a growth mindset operationalising programs for employees to easily navigate their development.
Identify and adopt or develop transformative learning methods that are easily accessible.
Provide both strategic and operational support for the design and delivery of innovative development programs.
Develop evaluation and assessment tools to measure impact and return on investment on Learning and Development initiatives.
Leverage analytics and reporting.
Manage and motivate a team of learning professionals with a clear vision that inspires high performance.
What we're looking for: Subject Matter expert: Experienced leading a Learning function in a faced paced or complex environment Proven track record building a learning and development strategy, ensuring training needs of the business are evaluated and appropriate development methods are selected based on relevant best practices and external trends.
Change agent: Influential partner who leads with data informed solutions to obtain buy-in from multiple stakeholders to influence the desired culture, behaviours and skills.
Strategic orientation with proven ability to set a vision, chart a path and execute with high impact.
Proven and respected team leader Excellent communicator across multiple level stakeholders (team, employees, managers, people leaders, executive team) Where and how you'll work.
This is a permanent position based in Auckland's CBD A hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from office and from home.
