Reporting to the Group General Manager, Kaiwhakahaere Matua – this is a diverse and rewarding role supporting our leader, and several business groups across the Toa ITM offerings. About the Role: You will play an important role in ensuring that our Group General Manager is kept well informed, offering strategic and financial insights to support innovative ways to retain market positioning and competitive advantages. Tactically, this role is also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of financial management and accountancy work alongside other financial journaling and financial administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Month and year end Prepare budgets board paper for presentation at the June board meeting Prepare Taxation obligations Manage Runanga audit queries as they arise through either the interim audit or the year end audit Draft annual financial statements in accordance with NZ GAAP for a For-Profit company About You: Key experience and qualifications required: 7-10 years' experience within a CA/Financial & Management Accountant capacity Strong business & financial acumen to support business outcomes Proven track record in delivery of effective, meaningful, and strategic financial advice Commercial industry experience and knowledge within the sector To apply for this vacancy you MUST be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and therefore hold a valid visa.
