Movio applications require high performance and process lots of data, giving our engineers experience with concurrency, fault-tolerant systems, and distributed cloud architectures. Testability and Continuous Integration are very important to us, and we have great test coverage.

About the role Play a key role in the further development of Movio Cinema EQ with a core focus on Golang and Python development Aid in the prioritisation, scoping and implementation of new features for the product Interact with key business stakeholders Collaborate with other teams around integration, and requirements Debug and troubleshoot existing production systems You'll need: Proven experience in an intermediate level Software Engineer role, ideally working on SaaS products Exposure to Python, Golang, PostgreSQL, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS is desirable Well-developed people skills with the ability to mentor more junior level engineers For this particular role, we are currently only considering applicants with the right to live and work in New Zealand without the need for employer sponsorship.
