Your responsibility is to maximize the value of the GIS Platform by leading and managing a team of GIS developers.
This role involves supporting team development, enhancing capabilities, and fostering a positive team culture.
Additionally, you will oversee the strategic planning, architecture, selection, deployment, operation, evolution, and retirement phases of the GIS Enterprise platform, ensuring its performance and long-term success.
Your role specifically involves leading the analysis and improvement of how different parts of the organization work together in GIS, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to optimize performance, as well as guiding teams in building, developing, maintaining, and enhancing all GIS applications.
You will also manage and mentor the GIS team, providing leadership in technical and strategic directions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.

Develop and oversee the support model to ensure seamless business operations and continuity.
Ensure the platform aligns with business objectives and supports growth.
Set and monitor uptime goals (e.g., 24/7) to meet business requirements.
Develop reporting frameworks and communicate performance to leadership.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track overall platform performance.
Ensure adherence to digital best practices and data governance policies.
Establish and enforce access control policies.
Exhibit excellent leadership skills, communicating clear strategy and purpose.
Demonstrate sound problem-solving skills.
Able to assess priorities and self-manage.
Experienced in application support and development.
