The Role As the GIS Lead, you'll oversee a team of GIS professionals, manage GIS projects from start to finish, and ensure that our spatial data supports key decision-making processes. You'll lead with technical expertise, manage resources effectively, and champion the use of advanced GIS methodologies in our operations. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of GIS professionals, set clear goals, and manage performance. GIS Project Management: Oversee the development and execution of GIS projects using ESRI ARC Map or similar GIS software, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Innovation: Promote and implement new GIS technologies and methodologies to enhance our network operations. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Network Engineering, Vegetation, and Operations to deliver geospatial solutions that meet TLC's strategic objectives. Customer Service: Act as the GIS product owner, managing vendor relationships and driving excellence in customer service. What We're Looking For: Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geospatial Science, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years in spatial analysis, data capture, and GIS project management, with expertise in ESRI ARC Map and the ArcGIS Enterprise product stack. Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving performance. Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex GIS projects, from inception to completion, while solving technical challenges. Skills: Proficient in spatial analysis, geospatial database design, and MS Office. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential. Join Us!
