You'll take charge of driving growth, fostering a culture of excellence, and transforming operational efficiency within this dynamic branch.
Responsibilities: Formulate the overall strategy for growth, sales, business development, and operations.
Design strategy and set goals in line with the set objectives to grow revenue and EBITDA for all divisions.
Prioritize excellent customer service, retaining contracts, winning new accounts, and achieving exceptional customer satisfaction outcomes.
Drive operational excellence and maintain high standards in areas such as DIFOT performance, inventory control, health & safety, and facilities management.
Invest in developing team capabilities, foster accountability, and drive continuous improvement across all levels of the Tauranga branch.
Support and guide the sales team to deliver best-in-class customer outcomes and sales growth.
Analyze financial data, manage P&L effectively, and identify strategic levers for business growth and profitability.
Act with urgency, respond to challenges promptly, and take proactive measures to address issues as they arise.
Inspire and lead teams, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and develop talent within the branch.
Effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels, collaborate across functions, and build strong relationships both internally and externally.
Requirements: Strong sales, customer, and general management skills with proven experience in overseeing complex operations and driving growth.
Knowledge of business processes and operational functions (sales, finance, HR, procurement, health and safety, etc.).
Proficiency in driving operational efficiency and maintaining high standards in key operational areas.
Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated ability to act with urgency and take proactive measures to address challenges.
Experience in the foodservice industry advantageous, or other high-volume product distribution organizations considered.
Desire for long-term tenure and commitment to contributing to sustained growth.
