Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)In this position, you will be responsible for managing current services, leading transformation, and planning and executing future development. You will report directly to the CEO and will be accountable for ensuring the overall quality of service within Palmerston North, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, and Hawkes Bay. This includes the wellbeing of the people we support, overseeing staff, managing contracts, and meeting financial performance goals. As a member of the senior management team, you will also be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation and ensure that the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are upheld across all services.What you will bringWe are looking for someone with a strong commitment to respecting the rights of and supporting those with disabilities. You will have a strong alignment with our purpose, vision, values, and Mana Wairoa.To be considered for this position, you will need the following qualifications and experience:Health or management-related tertiary level qualification (minimum of Level 7) e.g. Health Science, Nursing, Psychology, Business ManagementAt least five years of relevant management experience working in the health and disability or social services sectorProven experience working with multiple stakeholders both internally and externallyExperience and proven skills in developing and leading cohesive teamsExperience in managing geographically dispersed teamsExperience in change management and implementing innovative and new models of supportExcellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to create effective working relationshipsExcellent at interpreting, applying and understanding key financial indicators to make effective business decisionsProven experience in managing people's performanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFull, current and clean NZ driving licenceWillingness to travelBusiness qualification or Postgraduate Diploma in Business/Health Management or similarFinancial management and reporting experienceDemonstrated partnership and networking skillsA network of health and disability sector relationshipsAbout UsWe are a community-based disability support provider that operates across much of the North Island.
