Gardening Team Leader

Seeking an experienced Gardening Team Leader to join our amazing team!
Are you passionate about gardening, self-motivated and have an eye for detail?
We're looking to expand our garden maintenance crews and are looking for an energetic and passionate individual who can lead one of our Garden Maintenance Teams.
Oliver's Army maintains gardens on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis and we are seeking an experienced or qualified Gardening Team Leader (Level 3-4) to help maintain some of Wellington's finest gardens.
Your daily tasks would include:
Maintaining and developing gardens by planting, pruning, fertilising, and weeding.
Selecting and buying plants.
Using hedge trimmers, weed eaters, blowers, and lawn mowers.
Controlling and treating plant pests and diseases.
Discussing gardening requirements with clients.
You will be managing 1-2 other people each day depending on the jobs, so good people skills are essential.
Oliver's Army prides itself on having an extremely good work environment where your voice is heard, and we acknowledge that there is more to life than work.
We like to have a good laugh, but at the same time, when there's a job to do, we get stuck in.
We start at 7:15 am and aim to finish up by 4 pm to enable you time to do things outside of work. All breaks are paid.
You will need a full clean driver's license, and a driving manual is a plus.
